Hassan Jafri

Hassan has been a Learning Tree Data Science & Analytics instructor for over 7 years. He is a fintech professional and currently an independent consultant applying his expertise in data science, quantitative finance, and economics to help clients build, test and deploy data-intensive econometric models. Before his current role, he co-founded and acted as the Principal Strategist at a “long volatility” hedge fund called DGamma Capital, which aimed to protect investors against economic shocks and significant market downturns. In addition, Hassan is a veteran of various Boston area start-ups, including Cloud FastPath (acquired by Box), and a faculty member at Brandeis University Fintech graduate program.
