This two-day course teaches the Lean-Agile principles and practices of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®). You learn how to execute and release value through Agile Release Trains, how to build an Agile Portfolio, and how to lead a Lean-Agile transformation at enterprise scale. You gain an understanding of the Lean-Agile mindset and how to apply the principles and practices of SAFe to support Agile teams, programs, program portfolio management, and to coordinate large Value Streams. This course is based on version 4.5; exam included.

  • Recommended Experience

    • All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SA certification exam:
      • 5+ years experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product or project management
      • Experience in Scrum
    • The following roles are encouraged to attend:

  • Exam Information

    • Access to take the exam will be emailed to attendees from Scaled Agile directly. Attendees have 30 days to take the exam.
    • Exam is closed book, web-based, and timed (90 minutes).
    • A score of 76% is needed to pass (34 out of 45). Results are automatically received when exam is submitted. Printable certificates available.
    • First exam attempt is included as part of the course tuition if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.
