Earn PDU credits from the Project Management Institute through the
Learning Tree Management Curriculum.
The Learning Tree Management Curriculum provides the knowledge and skills important to today's management professionals. Through the courses in this curriculum you learn to apply tools and techniques that will enhance your effectiveness managing projects and leading people.
Learning Tree provides valuable training for those beginning in the project management field or expanding their role and considering the PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
® exam. Learning Tree Courses also provide valuable training for professional project managers who are pursuing or maintaining
the Project Management Professional (PMP)
®, the Program Management Professional (PgMP)
®, the Scheduling
Professional (PMI-SP)
®, and/or the Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)
® certifications from the Project
Management Institute (PMI). Learning Tree course participants can prepare for the associated exams and earn
professional development units (PDUs) by attending specific Learning Tree courses. PDUs are required by PMI in preparing for, or maintaining, a PMI certification.
In addition to earning PDUs or achieving a PMI
® certification, you can further enhance your professional project management career by becoming a Learning Tree Certified Professional in
Project Management or
Software Engineering Project Management.
Learning Tree also offers additional Certifications for those who are interested in enhancing their management and business skills:
Those interested in achieving the CAPM certification should take Course 3601,

PMBOK® Guide - Fourth Edition and learn to identify significant steps of the project life cycle. You also create a personalised self-study plan for exam success.
If you are an experienced project manager intending to take the PMP exam, you should take Course 276,

PMBOK® Guide terminology, tools and techniques. You gain practical test-taking experience through PMI-style practice exams and create your own personal study plan for continued use after the course.
If you are an experienced project manager intending to take the PMI-RMP
® exam, you should take Course 286,
Project Risk Management. This course provides strategies for analysing risk in project development and implementation and helps you successfully prepare for the PMI-RMP
® exam.
Additional courses in the Learning Tree Management Curriculum provide the skills that project, programme and people managers need to be successful in the workplace and are aligned with the PMI document "Project Management Body of Knowledge
(PMBOK® Guide - Fourth Edition)" on which these exams are based. Not all courses are specifically designed as PMI exam-preparatory courses; however, PMI Certification exam candidates and holders definitely benefit from taking the courses, which qualify for professional development units (PDUs) required by the Project Management Institute (see tables above for PDU details).
