What is Windows SharePoint Services?

What is the difference between MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0?

Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 is ideal for a small to mid-size organisation. Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is appropriate for large, complex organisations; however, WSS is built into MOSS 2007. WSS is the foundation for a series of Microsoft products such as Project Server, Team Foundation Server, Portfolio Server and MOSS 2007. Both MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0 are included in this course.
