A background in IT is helpful but not required for this course.Does this course cover all editions of Vista?All versions of Vista share the same operating system core. This course focuses on the Vista editions appropriate for business use. Course 960, Windows Server® 2008: A Comprehensive Hands-On Introduction?Windows Vista: A Hands-On Introduction introduces concepts necessary to effectively support and manage desktop operating systems in a Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 AD environment. It does not cover the details of configuring servers or centrally managing security, computers and users via the Active Directory.
Course 595 and Course 960 are more advanced course that includes a thorough introduction to Active Directory and other advanced enterprise technologies.Does this course cover troubleshooting and optimization?This course provides a general understanding of troubleshooting and optimization issues, including editing the Registry and using System Restore. Will this course teach me to set up a TCP/IP network?This course covers basics related to operating Windows Vista in a TCP/IP environment.
