Which application servers are used?The Apache Tomcat application server is used for the classroom exercises. The applications developed in the course are portable to all Java application servers including WebLogic, WebSphere, Oracle Application Server, Geronimo and Java System Application Server.What platform and software are used?This is a Windows-based course; however, the knowledge and skills gained are equally applicable to UNIX, Linux and MacIntosh systems.Does this course cover IDEs?The course exercises use the Eclipse IDE.
