This course does not review ITIL v2 material-however, ITIL v2 concepts and terminology are tested on the ITIL v3 Foundation Bridge Certification Exam. Therefore, it is important that you know the ITIL v2 material prior to attending the course.Is there ITIL v2 content on the Bridge Exam?The Bridge Exam includes ITIL v2 content that underwent major changes in ITIL v3 as well as v2 content that is unchanged in v3. While the unchanged ITIL v2 content is not covered in this course, it is considered well-known material to ITIL v2 Foundation Certificate holders.How is the exam structured?The Bridge Exam is a multiple choice, 20 question exam. You have 30 minutes to complete the exam and must answer 13 questions correctly (65%) in order to pass.What pre-course preparation is required?
Approximately two to five hours of pre-course study is required. Seven to 10 days prior to the course, a Learning Tree Pre-Course Study Guide is sent to you which provides a refresh of ITIL v2 concepts.Is this course accredited?Yes. The APMG, a worldwide accreditation, certification and qualification body, has accredited this course and the instructors who teach it as providing high-quality training in IT Service Management. Is this course applicable to a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification?
Yes. Although this course is not designed as preparation for the exam, it is beneficial to anyone working toward PMI's PMP certification. For those who are currently certified, completion of this course counts as 10.5 professional development units (60 units must be completed every three years to maintain certification).
