Corporate Sales Manager
Manage and develop Learning Tree business within key corporate accounts nationally across the UK.
Achieve revenue, margin and quality targets.
- Sell Learning Tree Training portfolio to key corporate accounts, development accounts and prospect accounts
- Produce highly customer-focused On-Site proposals and presentations
- Promote On-Site business within a designated territory both in the UK and internationally
- Organise and conduct well-qualified meetings with key decision makers as necessary
- Produce and maintain account plans that set out a strategy for achieving revenue and margin growth
- Production and presentation of sales forecasts
- Support and guide the logistical support team by generating weekly action plans and review meetings
- Contribute to Learning Tree's quest for continuous improvement of its quality and communications
- Graduate calibre
- Minimum of 3 successful years in sales/account management, ideally within business services
- UK driving license
- Confident, highly presentable and a strong communicator
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial customer relationships

Outbound Sales Manager
To prepare for and conduct outgoing telephone calls, following up and qualifying internally generated leads. The role requires that sufficient knowledge of Learning Tree products is gained whilst credibility with prospects and customers is maintained. The core objective is to convert at least 10% of all calls made into firm orders or course bookings.
- Managing and prioritising leads generated as the basis of a daily action plan
- Generating and increasing revenues by selling Learning Tree’s values and products to key contacts and individuals within your geographical territory
- Competently managing an allocated territory to provide performance consistency and accuracy of forecasts
- Extensive networking of existing client base to drive retention and renewals of business
- Proactively meeting and exceeding targets whilst adhering to corporate policies and procedures
- Ensuring that internal and external customers consistently receive the highest levels of service
- Managing the provision of proposals, tender documents and general information provided to contacts; ensuring that Learning Tree is established as the No.1 provider of IT training within your client base
- Organising and conducting well-qualified meetings with key decision makers where appropriate
- Conducting thorough and accurate research in support of your daily call planning
- Maintaining organised administration and implementing effective time management methods to ensure the highest levels of productivity
- Graduate calibre
- Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and sales targets, ideally in a telesales business-business environment (not necessarily IT based)

IS Director
- Assist the UK IS Department in supporting our IT Systems
- Provide first- and some second-level support, through our helpdesk, to all users in the UK Offices
- Liaise with the IS Team to continually broaden knowledge and skills
- Participate in local and global projects, undertaken by the Information Systems team
- Perform daily routine maintenance checks on key systems
- Provide high-quality support for applications used by Learning Tree UK
- Manage and maintain the UK IS Department Helpdesk system, which involves daily checks on incoming requests, escalation to other IS people, providing additional information to existing issues
- Provide first-line support and management of various IS Systems, including:
- Desktop and Laptop support
- Basic network support
- Printer and fax maintenance (with assistance from external contract)
- Backup tape management and rotation
- Telephone extension support
- E-mail client support (Outlook)
- Provide cover support for other areas in the Information Systems Department, following departmental cross-training
- Some user training and education of both IS Policies and Application use within the business
- Understand and support existing DR contingency plans for all IS services
- Manage hardware build, including maintaining desktops, rebuilding images and documentation of up-to-date build information
- Inventory and stock management of IS equipment
- Maintain standard operating procedures and policies relating to networking, security and remote
- Travel to other sites occasionally to coordinate efforts and instruct users
- General aptitude with technology of all sorts
- A good standard of computer literacy and math skills
- At least 12 months' working experience supporting MS applications and/or MS operating systems
- At least 12 months' working experience troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in hardware such as desktop PCs, laptops, printers, telephones, faxes and scanners
- A basic working knowledge of networking, servers and data backup
- Some previous experience working in a small support/helpdesk environment
- A 12 months' working experience supporting a business application (such as an in-house CRM system) is a plus
- College/University qualifications preferred
- Able to manage time and priorities responsibly
- Logical approach to problem solving

- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Customer service attitude, patient and flexible
- Keen to learn and positive outlook
The ideal candidate is energetic and motivated, and keen to take on a role in an IS department.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the IT industry, it is also important for this person to be willing to expand his or her knowledge constantly, and to have his or her skills upgraded as and when required.
The role will involve working as a member of a close-knit team in an environment of open information-sharing to assure cross-training and cover within the department.
