Learning Tree offers Continuing Education Units
As of January 1, 2011, CompTIA requires continuing education units (CEUs) be earned every three years in order to maintain the CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications. If you become certified on or after January 1, 2011, you must complete these CEUs to retain your certification. Several Learning Tree courses offer CEUs to help you meet this new requirement.

The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) certifies the competency of service and support technicians, networking professionals and security professionals through these globally recognised certifications. Each of these certifications is also approved by the U.S. Department of Defense and may be used to satisfy the Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program (DD8570) requiring all personnel with authorised access to DoD information systems to hold accredited and approved certifications.
