In this course, you gain a comprehensive technical introduction to TCP/IP. Extensive hands-on exercises provide the practical experience you need to configure a host, employ TCP/IP tools and protocol analysis techniques, use application services, and access TCP/IP-based internetworks. You learn how to identify the role of each TCP/IP component and use all major TCP/IP application services.

 

You gain the skills to deploy, troubleshoot and secure wireless networks and make informed decisions about Wi-Fi technologies and products. You learn how wireless technology works and how to plan, optimise and extend the network beyond short range. You also learn how to restrict access with authentication and firewalls, secure data with wireless encryption standards, and create and connect to public hotspots.

 

In this course, you gain the skills to secure wireless networks against threats and attacks. You implement the WPA2 and 802.11i security standards, encrypt wireless traffic using Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) or Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), and deploy wireless intrusion detection systems (WIDS).
