Developing a Web Site: Hands-On
(Course 470 - 4 days)
This intensive hands-on course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to develop a well-designed Web site. You learn to build and publish Web pages using HTML, configure a Web server, capture and display information via a database, and produce dynamic Web pages using server-side and client-side scripts.

Designing and Building Great Web Pages: Hands-On
(Course 487 - 4 days)
This course provides the knowledge and experience needed to design the presentation and coherent organization of Web pages. You learn to create graphical content using Adobe Photoshop, develop standards-based Web sites with Microsoft Expression Web and Macromedia Dreamweaver, generate Web pages with Cascading Style Sheets, tables and XHTML, and enhance your Web pages with special effects and DHTML.
 
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for Web Page Development: Hands-On
(Course 522 - 3 days)
In this course, you design and rapidly develop cross-platform Web pages using CSS and HTML. Through an evolving case study, you learn to generate tableless page layouts with pure CSS, structure site layout and content to make your site faster and more maintainable, and implement menu designs for effective site navigation. You also learn to create Web sites that meet Section 508 and W3C accessibility standards.
 
JavaScript for Web Development: Hands-On
(Course 489 - 4 days)
This course provides in-depth hands-on experience writing client-side JavaScript. Through an evolving case study, you gain the knowledge and skills to create interactive forms that capture and validate user input, add interactivity and dynamic graphics, develop DHTML Web pages, and interface to Java, ActiveX, plug-ins and Ajax.

Each Certification Programme involves the successful completion of four courses - three core courses, plus one elective course, and their associated examinations.

Certifications are FREE. Exams are offered on the last day of each course. Transfer credit is available.
